LeBron James and family accepting his award at Harlem’s Fashion Row Ceremony on September 4, 2018 in New York City.

For the 11th year in a row, Artist Jordan Baker-Caldwell has created the award statues given out at the annual “Harlem’s Fashion Row: Fashion and Style Award Ceremony” and this year his artwork has joined the private collections of the incomparable LeBron James, and award winning fashion designer Dapper Dan.

Dapper Dan has been making waves as of late, receiving long overdue recognition for his iconic Gucci designs worn by the likes of Naomi Campbell, Katy Perry and LL Cool J to name a few. Likewise, LeBron James’ resent philanthropic ventures have rivaled his athletic achievements with the creation of his “I Promise” School and his new documentary “Shut Up & Dribble.”

The HFR Awards are given to those who exemplify excellence in their field, and it has been Jordan’s task to create personalized works of art that honor the significance of their contributions. Jordan designed the awards to be “modern artifacts,” distinctly contemporary with a touch of Art Deco, and a nod to classical Egyptian and Sumerian design.
